Number: 2025-02-04 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board receives the verbal update regarding the BIA 's request for a fireworks donation from Grand Valley Council; AND FURTHER THAT the Board approves the amount of $2,500 for the purchase of 2025 Canada Day fireworks and that this expense be paid from the 2025 BIA Budget - Special Events expenses.

Number: 2025-02-05 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board receives the 2025 OBIAA 22025 Conference (March 30th to April 2nd) information; AND FURTHER THAT the Board approves two Board Members to attend day session at 2025 OBIAA Conference at cost of $420.00 member/ per day AND FURTHER THAT Board Members confirm with the board secretary by February 11th if they will be attending.

Number: 2025-02-06 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board approves the Canada Day Car Show entertainment as follows: Campfire Poets, duo, $1,200 cost; AND FURTHER THAT the Board directs Meredith Dray, to confirm the entertainment booking, with booking confirmation and invoice provided to the board secretary; AND FURTHER THAT the Board approves the payment of Canada Day Car Show entertainment expenses $1,200 to be paid from the 2025 Special Events expenses.

Number: 2025-02-07 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board receives the resignation of Meghan Richards from the Grand Valley BIA Board effective February 2025; AND FURTHER THAT the Board appoints Kim Layton to the BIA Board for a term ending November 2026; AND FURTHER THAT the Board directs the Board Secretary to advise Grand Valley Council of the appointment.
