Resolution Number: 2026-01-01 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board appoints Chris Gerrits as Chair and Lorne Dart as Vice-Chair for the 2026 year.

Resolution Number: 2026-01-02 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the January 12, 2026 regular meeting agenda be approved as amended, move subsection 7.3 2026 Draft Budget to when Lorne arrives.

Resolution Number: 2026-01-03 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the December 2, 2025 meeting be approved as amended;  item 8.a Chief's Report state the Board agreed to retain the 5 applicants as reserves and will pay WSIB  item 8.c 2026 Draft Budget state the Board will not purchase a prevention vehicle or replace truck 31 in 2026 and the Board directed staff to refine the budget based on what is needed/required for 2026

Resolution Number: 2026-01-04 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Bills and Accounts for December 2025 in the amount of $149,857.16 be approved and paid from the Operating Account.

Resolution Number: 2026-01-05 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board receive the Chief's report for information.

Resolution Number: 2026-01-06 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board resolve itself into closed session under the provision of Section 239(2)(d) of the Municipal Act to discuss:  labour relations or employee negotiations

Resolution Number: 2026-01-09 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the December 2, 2025, closed meeting be adopted as circulated.

Resolution Number: 2026-01-10 BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given to confirm the proceedings of the January 12, 2026 Grand Valley & District Fire Board meeting.

Resolution Number: 2026-01-11 BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Board adjourn to meet again on February 2, 2026 at 5:30pm.
