BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Dalton R. Lowe and Sons Construction Ltd. request to amend the 2026 Grave Tender - fuel costs; AND FURTHER THAT Council agrees to the $0.20/mt fuel surcharge as per their letter dated March 30, 2026.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Report No. PLN2026-067 Decision Report – Proposed Zoning Amendment Z03-2025 193064 Amaranth East Luther Townline dated April 14, 2026, be received; AND FURTHER THAT the Zoning by-law Amendment File Z03-2025, to amend the Town of Grand Valley Zoning By-law 2009-10, as amended, for the lands municipally known as 193064 Amaranth East Luther Townline (Roll #100175) , as generally shown in Appendix 2: DRAFT Zoning By-law , be approved and the necessary By-law be adopted ; AND FURTHER THAT a Site Plan drawing conforming to the applicable and site-specific zoning requirements be submitted with the Building Permit Application to be reviewed by Planning, prior to Municipal Approval being issued. AND FURTHER THAT Zoning By-law 2009-10, as amended, be further amended to add a new definition Impervious Lot Area to Zoning By-law 2009-10, as amended , as generally shown in Appendix 2: DRAFT Zoning By-law , be approved and the necessary By-law be adopted.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives Report PLN 2026-056 – Monthly Planning Update Report – April 2026, for information purposes.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the correspondence listed on the Tuesday, April 14, 2026, Council Agenda.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Economic Development Committee's Resolution regarding a Town Advertising Policy AND FURTHER THAT Council directs staff to prepare an advertising policy that reflects the request from the EDC.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council waives the rules with respect to Notice of Motion.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council directs staff to set up a meeting with our MPP and her staff to discuss the constant changes to the Planning Act, imposed changes to regional councils, forced reduction of development charges, and infrastructure funding.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given to introduce the by-laws listed on the Tuesday, April 14, 2026 agenda as item 21.1 and that the By-law be given the necessary reading and passed and numbered as By-law 2026-25.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT leave be given to introduce a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Regular Council Meeting held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 and that it be given the necessary readings and be passed and numbered as By-Law 2026-26.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn this Regular Council Meeting at 7:46 p.m. to meet again for a Regular Council Meeting on April 28, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. or at the call of the Mayor.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receives the Report – Dufferin Food Share Request for Tax Reduction, AND THAT the decision be deferred. AND FURTHER THAT staff bring back a report, no later than June 23, to include how many charities in Grand Valley would qualify for a rebate, if the rebate should apply to occupancy or ownership and the percentage rebate that other municipalities offer.
